DANCERS, ARTISTS, AND MUSICIANS TO BE EMPLOYED IN ENTERTAINMENT VENUES.
- Completed and signed application by the applicant (Forms 1 and 2).
- Photocopy of the entire passport or another equivalent document (see table No. 4).
- For the issuance of the residence permit, Forms 1 and 2 are filled out at the Immigration One-Stop Office when signing the employment residence contract.
- For the renewal of the residence permit, in addition to the application mentioned in point a), a copy of the renewed work permit, a copy of the residence contract signed between the parties and sent to the Immigration One-Stop Office, and a copy of the return receipt of the registered mail with which the residence contract was sent must be provided.
NOTES:
- The work permit, and consequently the residence permit, can be granted for an initial period not exceeding 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
- The extension of the work permit can be granted based on documented needs, solely to allow the closure of the show, and exclusively for the continuation of the employment relationship with the same employer.
- The work permit is issued by the Directorate General for Employment – Secretariat for Entertainment Placement in Rome and by the Special Office for Entertainment Worker Placement for Sicily in Palermo.
- Entry visas for foreign artists who perform self-employment work for a short duration, which is less than ninety (90) days, are issued outside the quotas set by the decree for programmed entry flows, with the condition that the artists involved cannot engage in activities for a producer or commissioner other than the one for which the visa was issued. In this case, the residence permit application must be supported by:
- Completed and signed application by the applicant (Forms 1 and 2).
- Photocopy of the entire passport or another equivalent document (see table No. 4).
