- University professors and researchers assigned to carry out academic duties or paid research at universities, educational institutions, or research institutions operating in Italy.
- Translators and interpreters
- Family members with at least one year of ongoing full-time domestic work relationships with Italian citizens or citizens of one of the EU member states living abroad, who are moving to Italy to continue their domestic work.
- Individuals authorised to stay for professional training purposes, performing temporary training periods with Italian employers, including tasks falling within the scope of subordinate employment.
- Regularly salaried employees of natural or legal persons residing or having their registered office abroad and directly paid by them, who are temporarily transferred from abroad to individuals or legal entities, Italian or foreign, residing in Italy, in order to carry out specific services under a contract for work concluded between the aforementioned natural or legal persons residing or having their registered office in Italy and those residing or having their registered office abroad.
- Employees in circuses or travelling shows abroad.
- Artistic and technical personnel for lyrical, theatrical, concert, or ballet performances.
- Dancers, artists, and musicians to be employed in entertainment venues.
- Artists employed by musical, theatrical, cinematographic entities or radio or television public or private companies or public entities as part of cultural or folkloric events.
- Foreigners destined to engage in any type of professional sports activity with Italian sports companies according to Law no. 9 of March 23, 1981.
- Journalists officially accredited in Italy and regularly salaried by the press, newspapers or periodicals, or foreign radio or television broadcasters.
- Individuals who, in accordance with international agreements in force for Italy, perform research activities or occasional work in Italy within youth exchange or youth mobility programs, or are au pairs.
- Nurses hired by public and private healthcare facilities.
